He is one of the great saints of the Catholic Church, and one of the beloved--even far beyond Catholics themselves. Untold numbers of people turn to him, still, when there is loss. And strangely--at least strangely in the usual ways of the world--those things often quickly turn up. And often they turn up in the most unexpected--even seemingly miraculous ways. Let the stories begin.

Lost Money Found
Couldn't believe it-lost money found!
A few years ago, my mom and I were headed out to the store. As we walked to the car, she told me that she was upset because she had lost a small wallet that had at least $200 in it. Without thinking, as I got into the car, I prayed to St. Anthony to help her find it. We got to the store, went in, and when we came back and were getting into the car, I looked down, and there, on the ledge of the car floor on the passenger's side, was her wallet! She had searched high and low without finding it. If it had been there before, I would have stepped over it without seeing it not once but twice while entering and exiting the car. And yet, I said the prayer to St. Anthony and there it was! Whether it miraculously appeared or he simply opened our eyes, I was extremely grateful to him for his help.
